Five Key Investment Actions

Business System:

  • Actively participate in all Money Concepts Meetings, both regionally and nationally.
  • Open up to your fellow associates, network, set aside the normal tendency to sit back and observe. Don’t wait for things to happen, make it happen.
  • Ask questions; drill down until you fully understand the answers.

Educate others about the real you:

  • Let your associates know who you are, your experience, your goals and desires, what makes you tick personally and professionally.
  • Share all the things that are or are not happening in your business and what would you like to happen.
  • Share your strengths and weaknesses… worst and all. The more your associates know you the more they can help you overcome the obstacles that are keeping you from achieving your goals, and the reverse.

Focus on a narrow change agenda:

  • The Money Concepts Business System offers a nearly unlimited opportunity, but don’t bite off more than you can chew.
  • Work with your Regional Director to isolate two or three strategic initiatives that you would like to accomplish in your first year.
  • Use the network to help create an action plan. Bounce ideas off each other. Share past experiences and current actions.

Bond with associates from all over the Network:

  • Get to know other associates from around the country.
  • When engaging them, don’t waste time, have substantive questions prepared.
  • Get to know them in a social setting, such as lunch at one of our National Meetings (Annual Planning Conference or Financial Planning Congress).
  • Use e-mail and Yammer to stay in touch. Ask to be put on others general e-mail list so you can see what they are doing on a continuous basis. Get involved in building your own network.

Contact with your Regional Director:

  • Create an agreement on how you will work together to achieve maximum value for both of you.
  • Set very clear goals and objectives and accountability standards.
  • Check in on a regular basis. Determine what is working and how the two of you can collectively improve.
Committing to these action steps will significantly enhance the value you will receive from your association with Money Concepts. Keep in mind real change and improvement takes time and persistence. By being actively involved in these action steps, before you know it you will tap into the mother load of value.
